Great Hill

The Great Hill 100k is the newest addition to the Ironwood Adventure Works fleet of tough trail races. The glacier carved steeps of Finger Lakes trails are rugged enough to make question your decision making. This 60-mile course explores gullies, gorges, and takes you through downtown Naples, NY where you may be tempted to stop and get a latte or an IPA.

The Course
This 60 mile trail race is sure to be a Finger Lakes gem. This race highlights our favorite trails in our favorite areas and includes areas that aren't usually available to people. Starting in Honeoye Valley at the Muller Field Station and ending with a circumnavigation of Clark Gully on Great Hill or Nun-da-wa-hoo, the sacred birthplace of of the Haudenoshonee people. Long challenging climbs and steep downhill on little known trails. This race will challenge you to the very end.

2022 Entry Fees
Full Marathon $95
($105 after 7/31, $110 day of)
Half Marathon: $85
(95 after 7/31, 100 day of)
Refund policy: We will be happy to refund your entry fee, less a $25 service fee if you notify us by August 31. After Aug 31, no refunds will be issued.
All runners will receive a great event shirt, a race packet, post race grub.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place overall male and female winners for both race distances.
Finishers award; TBD.

Bib pick up 3- 5pm, outside the Trapp Family Lodge Outdoor Center.

6:30-7:45 AM - Packet pickup/check-in available at Trapp Lodge Outdoor Center for full marathon racers
Pre race informational briefing will occur immediately before each wave for full marathon racers
8:00 AM - Full Marathon Start!
8:01- 8:45 AM - Packet pickup/check-in available at Trapp Lodge Outdoor Center for half marathon racers

IMPORTANT: All race participants must check in Saturday morning so we know you are starting the race and can account for you, even if you picked up your packet Friday night..
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
2021 Covid 19 Policies (22 policies TBD)
All participants and volunteers are required to wear a mask at bib pickup, in the starting coral at the start area, and at the finish area once you have completed your race unless you are socially distanced.
It is strongly recommended that any participant or volunteer who is not fully vaccinated seek out a PCR Covid 19 test within a 72 hour period prior to the start of the event, and don't attend if you receive a positive result.
Please do not attend if you are currently sick, or have experienced any symptoms of Covid 19 recently.
All participants are required to make themselves aware of, and to follow all state and federal travel restrictions related to Covid 19
.
Unfortunately, due to the current increase in cases nationwide, we will be unable to provide post-race festivities. There will be a delicious to-go burrito for each runner and you don't have to leave immediately, but at the request of the Trapp Family Lodge we will be unable to have our typical post race raffle/party. We ask that if you aren't leaving that you spread out to allow plenty of social distance space.
Aid is only allowed at aid stations.
If you must drop, please notify a race official at the start/finish area ASAP so we don't go looking for you!
