Get ready for 34 miles of some of the best gravel Vermont has to offer.

The Knobby Rock Gravel Grinder is more than just a bike event, it’s a full-on Green Mountain experience. Starting from the iconic Blueberry Hill Inn & Outdoor Center, you’ll roll out with a mass start into the heart of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, where miles of quiet dirt roads, winding gravel, and lush fall color forest corridors await.

This is classic Vermont riding: hard-packed gravel, good folks, and just enough rugged character to keep things interesting. You’ll cruise through the beautiful leafy tunnels, pop out to sweeping mountain views, and settle into that perfect rhythm that only a long gravel day can deliver.

Come for the gravel. Stay for the vibes and the free camping!

We’ve been building unforgettable trail running events across Vermont and New England since 2014, and now we’re bringing that same energy, attention to detail, and community vibe to gravel. Bikes have always been part of who we are—this event has been a long time coming.

And there’s history here, too. The name “Knobby Rock” is a nod to a classic mountain bike race held at Blueberry Hill back in the 80s. We’re proud to bring that spirit back—reimagined for today’s gravel scene.

Whether you’re chasing miles, good company, or just an excuse to spend a day riding in one of the most beautiful corners of Vermont, this is your ride.
